Creation of MCI Mauritania
A New Ambition for Mining Services in Mauritania
Nouakchott, Mauritania — MCI officially announces the creation of MCI Mauritania, a Mauritanian company specialized in industrial-scale mining services, backed by Mauritanian capital and driven by a long-term vision for the sustainable development of the national mining sector.
Through this new entity, MCI Mauritania aims to support mining projects in Mauritania with international standards in mining operations, safety, performance, and local workforce development.
The company intends to play an active role in strengthening the national mining ecosystem by contributing to:
• local employment development;
• capacity building for Mauritanian talent;
• reinforcement of Local Content initiatives;
• sustainable value creation for the national economy.
MCI Mauritania positions itself as a future leading player in industrial mining services in Mauritania, with an approach based on operational excellence, strong local partnerships, and long-term commitment.
